October Newsletter 2011

Thank you so much for your help in the past and especially to those of you who participated in the Golf Day on the 28th of September. We managed to raise almost £1,500 on the day including some very generous individual donations. This will help to pay for the borehole (£5,000) we need in Musenyi as the dry season creates huge problems for the community as they have to walk a minimum of 10 kms for water if our water tanks run dry and even that source sometimes dries up as well. Thank you to those of you who donate monthly and those who have given us children’s clothing, medical items, old mobiles and educational equipment, please don`t stop.

Future Events

CHRISTMAS PARTY AND DINNER DANCE.
We have booked the National Suite at East Sussex National Golf Resort and Spa on

Saturday the 26th November 2011 for our annual Christmas Dinner Dance Celebration. The evening costs £45 and starts at 7pm with carriages at midnight.Dress code is DJ and Posh Frocks. Hotel double rooms are available from £99 B & B.(Quote KX004045)

RWANDAN HOLIDAY 2012.
Our annual Rwandan holiday sadly did not have enough paid up adventurers in time

so we had to cancel. However many people are very interested for 2012 which will take place at the end of October to the beginning of November about half term time. Please let us know if you want to come as we only have a maximum of 20 places.
